1. Plant Location
It must be noted that Plants can be affected greatly because of the positions they are placed. Actually, atmospheric changes define plant health, such as access to sunlight, humidity, temperature. When you notice changes on your potted plant, first of all, take into consideration changing its location to the right place.
2. Water
Obviously, Without water plants are not able to feed on the soil nutrients. because water helps dissolve the nutrients from the soil in which the plants take in. Consider giving them water depending on the advice from an experienced landscape designer, landscape architect, or gardener.
3. Watering the right way
In unfortunate situations, too much watering could affect the health of the soil and may wash away the plant’s important soil nutrients. and less watering could also kill your plant since it cannot absorb its nutrients. Here is a link on How to do the right watering for your plants. Because learning good watering skills definitely reduces the chances of plant mortality.
4. Soil PH
Undoubtedly, Soil PH affects the soil by changing its soil nutrient. In detail, the difference in PH destroys certain nutrients and makes others excess. Consequently, this could be bad in some cases and good in others depending on the plant. You need to ask your Landscaper what PH your plant flourishes in, with this information you will be able to keep regulating the PH changes. You should also learn How to test soil PH at Home. It will help you consistently regulate your PH and have a healthy plant.
5. Soil fertility
Importantly, Soil fertility is very key to having very healthy soil, you need to introduce fertilizer to keep your soil very healthy like it is said “feed the soil the plant will feed you too.” Always use fertilizer as advised by your landscaper and keep your plant healthier than ever.
6. Plant cleaning
Certainly, dust can be a big barrier to plant leaves fully doing their processes like photosynthesis and transpiration, this can affect the health of the plant. Because of this, it is advised that you introduce a habit of cleaning your plant’s leaves and stems with clean water and also removing the dead leaves and rotten leaves off the plant.
7. The Pot or Box
In most cases, plants die because they have been placed in the wrong pots or boxes. Pots and boxes vary depending on the plants. Having wrong pots or box sizes is the first factor to plant death, and it must be noted that plants grow, and the larger they grow: is the more they demand large pots or boxes. This actually means all potted plants are just a temporary location for these plants, and so you must be flexible enough to adjust them when the time comes. Secondly, potted plants must have an exit for water at the bottom, this reduces water lodging in the pot and allows the soil to get just the water they need and the excess water should be able to find its way out at the bottom, eventually.
