Between Client and Architect there is always a first encounter or even face to face meeting, However its never fixed, it ranges from face to face to just texting. But this is a simple summary of the relationship between the client and the architect in the upcoming project.
Client brief being one of the most important documents in architecture or even down to just that specific project, Clients and Architects need this to initialize and agree upon their dualism and how or what they would like to work with. It covers a summarized and yet important part of any design.
This meeting precedes any other business, even before the site visit, or any sketch on paper. I would say it is a period of short discussion for client and architect to know each other and later what they will be dealing with.
Simple outlining factor to be considered in your client brief would be;
