20 Tools Checklist

1. Wheelbarrow
This will simplify a lot of work, it allows one to quickly ferry the heavyweight material and tools from one place to another.
2. Panga/ Machete
Used for cutting, while the weighted upper blade provides force for chopping. Simple Shrubs, and branches while clearing the site for work. It can also come in handy especially with vegetative propagation: propagation by cuttings in specific.
3. Pick axe
Used to break up and split rock, concrete and hard earth when encountered during work . The chisel end of the pick axe head used to pry apart broken rocks and other objects such as paving slabs.
4. Hoe
Used to shape soil, remove weeds, clear soil, and harvest root crops. Shaping the soil includes piling soil around the base of plants (hilling), digging narrow furrows (drills) and shallow trenches for planting seeds or bulbs.
5.Spade
Designed for the specific task of lifting up and removing dirt.
6. 20 litre Jerrycan
Used to withdraw water from the water source and transport to the garden for use
7. Bucket
Used to carry, water and mixture of other liquids like fertilizers.
8. Strings
A piece of string can be an impressive geometric construction tool. When held down at one end, a string used to create a circle. When tightly stretched, a string can act as a straightedge.
9. Spirit Level
Used to designed to indicate whether a surface is level on the horizontal or vertical planes, and there are a variety of sizes and designs for every project.
10. Survey pegs
used to mark out residential boundaries and indicate points and positions of a site.
11. Tape Measure
Used to quantify the size of an object or the distance between objects.
12. Water level
Used to determine the apparent inclination of an object or surface and for matching elevations of locations that are too far apart for a spirit level
13. Rake
Perfect for loosening or breaking up compacted soil, spreading mulch or other material evenly and leveling areas before planting. Used to collect leaves, hay, grass or other garden debris.
14. Garden Hose
Used to transport water for gardening, lawn care, and other landscaping purposes. Used for outdoor cleaning of items such as vehicles, equipment, building exteriors, and animals.
15. Ladder
Used just as frequently out in the garden to trim hedges, prune trees and bushes
16. Trowel
Used for breaking up earth, digging small holes, especially for planting and weeding, mixing in fertilizer or other additives, and transferring plants to pots.
17. Garden Fork
Used for loosening, lifting and turning over soil in gardening and farming.
18. Transplant Spade
Used to loosen the soil in the new transplant location. They also work well for dividing plants in order to separate and transplant them.
19. Axe
Used for chopping, splitting, chipping, and piercing
20. Garden Gloves
They keep your hands clean and, depending on their strength, may protect the hands from prickles, caustic substances, minor bites and sharp objects.
